It is 1 am (please forgive my tired eyes in this picture) and I just could not go to bed without getting this post in. I received a sample of Coola Mineral Matte Tinted 30 SPF Sunscreen and it is by far the best sunscreen I have EVER put on my face.


One hour after putting it on this morning, I went straight to their website and purchased. Being a beauty expert, I know that sunscreen is tip number 1 in preventing aging, therefore I wear it under my makeup every day. Most sunscreens, even if they are oil free, cause my face to become a little greasy throughout the day and will sometimes clog my pores. I used this sample today after applying a serum, eye creme, and moisturizer, and even completed my regular makeup regimen on top of this SPF. Wow! So many hydrating and anti-aging products but NO GREASE!
This sunscreen is surprisingly fluffy and smoothing, almost a souffle consistency, and seemed to even out like a primer too. At first, the tint seemed to be too light for a "one color fits all", but after I smoothed it over my face, it seemed to blend very well. I dusted a powder over the SPF and was ready to go! After doing some research on the product, I found that the line is heavily organic. This particular product contains Rose Hip Oil, rich in free radical fighting Vitamin C; and organic calming Evening Primrose, delivering abundant Omega-3 and Gamma-Linolenic Acid to improve elasticity and help skin retain moisture. Organic Shea Butter was also among the ingredients, smoothing and hydrating the skin while the phyto-protector Plankton Extract rejuvenates skin. It is even water resistant for up to 40 minutes! The more I browse, the more I find press around this line, being featured in many fashion and beauty magazines. This is a must for my beach bag this November when we head to Cancun.
