The hottest hair style this summer is "The Mermaid" and Corey Welch, of Pageboy of Harbor Town, knows how to perfect this look. Here is Corey's tutorial on how you can try this style at home, which, by the way, if done properly will last 48 hours!

STEP 2: With the curling wand pointed down, begin to wrap the section of hair around the wand, starting at the base of the wand and wrapping the hair to the bottom. Unless you are familiar with using the curling wand, it is easy to burn your hand. Most wands will come with a glove to prevent scalding.

STEP 3: Pull the curling wand up away from the scalp until the curl falls into the palm of your hand. To reinforce the curl, spray once more will in your hands and then let the curl fall.

 

STEP 4: Continue Steps 1 - 4 until your hair is fully curled.

Tips: If you prefer looser curls or more wavy than curls, brush through your hair once you are finished curling. For volume, flip your head upside down and spray with Jingles hair spray. If you want 48 hour wear, start with your hair wet and spritz with Jingles hairspray before blow drying.
