As most of you know, I style for a local Memphis, TN and Desoto County, MS magazine called Click. It is a great magazine for men and women of all ages and lucky for me, has a dedicated monthly fashion spread and that's where my job comes in.
SPRING/SUMMER 2014 Colors: Lime, Faded Denim, Royal Blue, Bold Coral, Fuchsia, and White
Lacey Layers: This look is perfect for the boho chic who's style leans more to the naturalist side. Thin headbands worn across the forehead are in this season and are a great complement to this look. Try one that has some sort of metal hardware, such as a silver feather, attached for added edge.
Bold & Aztec- Tribal and aztec gained a lot of momentum Winter 2012 and are becoming even more popular in the accessory market for this Spring and Summer. Choose light weight aztec scarves or geo-aztec earrings to add print to your solid bold tops.
Crops and Neck Pieces: Cropped tops with faded and cut off denim has made a come back and will be seen a lot tis summer. The featured accessory of the season will be a chunky, bold colored geo or bobble neckpiece.
Overalls: Rag overalls are also making a come back. These are best paired with flat laced shoes such as Vans or Chucks. This look pairs great with leather accented jewelry.
Bandage Dresses: This little number is ultra stretchy not only to stay up, but to make you look a full size smaller. No wonder this is the favored dress style this season!
