If you are like me, you are always scratching your head when it comes to Father's Day. A dress shirt, workout pants, or hat are always in the running for gifts for him, year after year. This year I decided to get a little more creative with my gift giving and picked 5 pretty unique items to give to dad.

1. Sentimental Socks

Socks are usually on the list of "out of ideas" but choosing some fun socks that are sentimental for your dad will make it fun and memorable for him every time he puts them on. Try to think of an embarrassing moment you all had together, or a fun vacation and then search Google for "keyword socks" For example, Pink Pineapple socks for the time you took a trip to the pineapple farm while on vacation as a kid. Every time he puts this pair on, he is guaranteed to remember your time together, think of you, and wear a smile all day.

2. Woodwick Reserve Candle

The Woodwick Reserve candle collection is a hit with all the guys. Not only are the scents designed to appeal to the male senses, for example leather and humidor, but they crackle when they burn, setting a soothing environment set for relaxation.

This is such a fun gift. The money soap not only gives the gift of clean smelling goodness, but each bar comes packed with a bill and that bill can be a $1, $5, $10, or $50!

These flasks come complete with a mini funnel and awesome sayings such as, "Boss With The Sauce" and "A Little Whiskey Makes Me Frisky." If Dad likes a little toddy every now and then, you can't go wrong with a Trixie and Milo flask.

5. A Hobby Kit

Sometimes when we become adults, we get wrapped up in the every day hustle and bustle of life and leave no time to pursue new hobbies that we may enjoy. If dad seemed to take interest in fishing on your last family trip, how about picking up a tackle box with a few fishing lures so that he may take some time to himself to expand in his skill set.
