I have to admit....I am being HORRIBLE during this pregnancy when it comes to eating and working out. I was pretty by the book with my first pregnancy and this time around I am making the same mistake many women make. "Oh this is in the bag!" I tell myself. Dropping the weight after baby number 1 was a breeze but it's super easy when you are managing your eating and workout habits. I have decided to stop the madness and start this week off right! I am adding a little color to my routine!

We have strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, mangoes, pomegranate, apples, plums, oranges, and grapefruit. I have also purchased medium sized Tupperware containers for portion control and storage.

Of course, first, you need to rinse all of your fruit to ensure that bacteria, pesticides, etc. on the outside are removed before cutting.

Then you will want to decide which combos you want to do. Once your combos are decided, cut your fruit and fill your cups!

This is strawberry banana. I would recommend adding sugar or Truvia to this one as a blended banana can be VERY bland.

I mixed Tangos and Mangos in this one. I have never heard of a Tango before but tried it for the first time and they are delicious! "Tango is the result of a mutation induced by irradiating budwood of W. Murcott Afourer mandarin." (citrusvariety.edu)

I mixed my favorite berries in this one, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
I am going to try mixing up a plum and pomegranate concoction as well as a orange and vanilla yogurt dreamsicle flavored shake.

Lastly, you freeze your fruit cups. In the mornings, my sweet hubby throws one for each of us in the blender and we have breakfast in minutes!

This is a perfect new routine for a super busy prego momma on the go!
